A very competitive night last Wednesday for Let’s Do Trivia. Q4 started it off with the best On Time Bonus answer. There were lots of ties for 1st place during the first half of the game, and, Q4 was tied for 1st place with Rich Trivia People at Halftime. Just one point back in third place was The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered. In the 2nd half of the game Q4 kept up their game, and, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered joined them in 1st place as we went into Final Bonus. After Final Bonus, those two teams were still tied for 1st place. But, after the tiebreaker, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered was the winner of the 1st place prize and Q4 took the 2nd place prize. It was a nice night of Let’s Do Trivia at the Aztec Ranch last week. However, we need some more folks out to help the competitive edge a little. Stan And Company, Rich Trivia People, Whitney Houston…We Have A Problem, The Van Goghs, and Chuck Smells Like Ham were a few of the MIAs from last week, who we truly missed their inputs to the fun of the night. It was Angry Raisins who start off with a “better than the rest”, because “the rest” also had good answers. The angry people kept up the good answers and lead the game at. Halftime. Right on their heals was Dover And Out in 2nd place. In the second half, Angry Raisins stay hot, but, everyone else stayed close. So, Angry Raisins were in 1st and The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered we just one point behind in 2nd place. Well I “saw” my way back to Rancho Azteca for a great game of Let’s Do Trivia last week and my great players!! Q4 came up big with the best OTB answer to get us off to a laughing start. The first half was full of great and not so great answers, and, by the time we got thru halftime, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered were in the lead with Angry Raisins just behind them in 2nd place. Q4 and Whitney Houston…We Have A Problem were close in a tie for 3rd. Things stayed about the same during the 2nd half, but, Angry Raisins dropped down a bit, because, Dover And Out got on their horses and rode up to 2nd place just behind The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered in 1st place. After the carnage of Final Bonus, Whitney Houston….We Have A Problem jumped from 4th place to 1st place for the night. Everyone had great ideas for the OTB: Top rejected slogan for a new line of absorbent undergarments for adults.  However, I don't think anyone should take their slogans to an actual AD agency.  The best answer came from The Men Are Driving Because the Women are Getting Hammered with "Let it go, Let it go, Don't hang on to it anymore." All teams were on a roll in the 1st half, they were even able to sweep Round 1.  At the half there was no clear dominant team at the half.  Angry Raisin had 35 pts., Dover and Out had 37, 38 pts. for Rich Trivia People, Q4 with 39 pts., and The Men are Driving with 41 pts.   As the game came to a close the only team that maintained a solid position was Q4, but they could not come up with the win.  However, fortunes, of course, changed for the rest of the teams.  Diver and Out brought up the rear for the second time in two weeks with 43 pt., The Men Are Driving with 47 pts.,61 pts. for RIch Trivia People, 65 pts. for Q4 (consistently sec...

Engines were revving at Rancho Azteca with the On Time Bonus Question: "Top thing you can say about your car, but not about your mate."  All teams did their best to drive their point home, but the team with the hottest wheels, in this host's opinion, was Stan and Co. with their response, " Whenever I turn her off, she stops." Every team raced neck and neck into halftime with a tie for 4th between Q4 and Angry Raisins, Dover and Out in 3rd, in 2nd The Men are Driving Because The Women are Getting Hammered, and Stan and Co. in 1st.  In the end a couple teams overcame the tight turns of the course to end in a tie.  Q4 and  The Men are Driving Because The Women are Getting Hammered had to go head to head in the tie breaking question, and Q4 came out on top!  Angry Raisins came in a close third with a correct answer to the final question and a wager of 20 pts. After that, The Men Are Driving Cause The Women Are Gettin’ Hammered and Q4 went to work and at Halftime they were both tied for 1st place. In the 2nd half, Dover And Out stepped up their game and pulled into 1st place as we went into Final Bonus. In the end of it all, Q4 popped up with a correct answer on a big wager to take 1st place.
